This manicure starts with a dry technique. The nails aren’t soaked in water. Instead, a fine electric tool gently cleans the skin around the nail. Removing dead skin this way creates a smooth base and keeps the gel from lifting later.
Once the area is clean, the nails are shaped, and the surface is gently buffed. Then, the gel is applied in thin layers. After each one, the nail is placed under a UV or LED lamp to harden it. A final top layer gives a smooth, glossy finish and seals everything in place.
